more information is obviously needed. The most obvious questions I would have would be how much do you owe and are the rentals in the area consistent with what you would charge for YOUR property and still make a profit. For example if your payments are 1200 a month but a 3 bedroom apt can be had for $750 a month in the same area you might have hard time renting your home. If you have been in your home for awhile and your payments are 400 a month and apartment rentals are the same as stated above you could rent until the market rises again. Consider a management company that screens the tenants/collects rent makes repairs etc.
