We have a tax lien that we were not aware of and I was told that the tax credit could be used to pay for closing costs, is that considered closing costs?

In the state of Nevada right now you cannot use the tax credit towards closing costs because you can?t apply for the tax credit until your transaction closes and records. The tax lien will show up as an issue with title and have to be taken care of before the transaction can close. I would like to talk with you further about this and help you understand you options. My name is Dana Caputo and I am with Century 21 MoneyWorld in Las Vegas. If you have a minute you can reach me at 702-596-3307.
