PARSIPPANY, N.J., (March 14, 2007) —
Century 21 Real Estate LLC today announced the recipients of its annual CENTURY
21 Technology Award at its international convention held at the Mandalay Bay
Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Established in 2003, the CENTURY 21 Technology
Awards are presented to the CENTURY 21 company and sales associate or sales team
that embraces technology and innovation as a means of better managing and
growing their business. This year's winners are:
-
Company Technology Award: CENTURY 21 Affiliated, Madison, Wis.
-
Producer Technology Award: Connie Webb, CENTURY 21 Bell Real Estate, Cheyenne,
Wyo.
"The CENTURY 21 Technology Awards recognize those companies and individual
producers that have not just incorporated new technology into their businesses
simply for technology's sake, but rather have found innovative ways to integrate
technology into their core service offerings," said Tom Kunz, president and CEO
of Century 21 Real Estate LLC.
CENTURY 21 Affiliated - Winner, Company
Technology Award
Led by broker/owner Bill Kessler, CENTURY 21 Affiliated
consists of nearly 30 independently owned and operated brokerage offices located
throughout Southern and Central Wisconsin. Challenged to keep his network of
more than 380 sales associates connected with each other, company management and
most importantly clients, Kessler remains a strong proponent of identifying
emerging technology and incorporating it into his organization when appropriate.
"It's an honor to be recognized with the CENTURY 21 Technology Award among such
a progressive and innovative group of real estate companies," said Kessler. "This
is an exciting time to be in real estate and it is our duty as professionals to
embrace technology and manage the different mediums of communication that it
affords." CENTURY 21 Affiliated was one of the first companies within the
CENTURY 21 System to incorporate the CENTURY 21 LeadRouterSM and CENTURY 21
SearchRouterSM applications into its business operations. The CENTURY 21
LeadRouter system converts Internet-generated consumer inquiries into voice
calls that are delivered to sales associates' cell phones, allowing sales
associates to respond to consumers within minutes of receiving the request. With
CENTURY 21 SearhRouter, visitors to
www.c21affiliated.com
can view all of the listings of every real estate brokerage participating in and
posting properties to the local Multiple Listing Service.
Connie Webb, GRI,
CRS, e-Pro - Winner, Producer Technology Award
With nearly 20 years of real
estate sales experience, Connie Webb, associate broker with CENTURY 21 Bell Real
Estate, Cheyenne, Wyo., understands the heightened levels of efficiency and
responsiveness technology affords her in making her clients' real estate
transactions as smooth and stress-free as possible. In an effort to leverage the
power of the Internet in marketing herself and her listings, Webb maintains five
Web sites, all of which include "Click-to-Talk" technology that phones her
immediately when a visitor to her Web site wishes to be contacted regarding a
property. In addition, Webb utilizes three virtual office assistants who serve
numerous functions for her, including those of a transaction coordinator and a
Web site specialist. "When I first started in this business, contracts were one-page
documents with carbon paper on the back," said Webb. "Today my real estate
practice reflects the demands of today's technology-savvy consumers. As a
REALTOR® from a small town in Wyoming, I am truly humbled by this award and will
continue to seek out ways that technology can help me grow my business." Webb's
commitment to leveraging technology has proven worth the investment as 2006
marked the fifth consecutive year that she has earned the CENTURY 21 System's
CENTURION® Award for outstanding sales production.
