Century 21 Real Estate LLC, franchisor of the world's largest residential real estate sales organization, today announced the promotion of Jim Ramsay to senior vice president of field services and the appointments of Saul Serna to senior vice president of Hispanic initiatives and Bev Thorne to senior vice president of marketing. All three executives will report directly to Thomas Kunz, president and CEO for Century 21 Real Estate LLC.
"Jim, Saul, and Bev bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their respective positions and will undoubtedly help the CENTURY 21 System strengthen its leadership position within the real estate industry," said Kunz.
Jim Ramsay - Senior Vice President of Field Services
In this newly created position, Ramsay will be responsible for managing service levels to the brand's more than 4,400 U.S. franchise offices and achieving production and growth goals for this group. He is tasked to build and maintain a positive leadership role in order to facilitate effective relationships between Century 21 Real Estate LLC and its U.S. franchisees.
Ramsay joined Century 21 Real Estate LLC in 2000 as a regional marketing director for the brand's Northeast and Midwest regions. He later spent two years as the national director of mortgage relations and most recently served as vice president of franchise services for the brand's north zone.
Saul Serna - Senior Vice President of Hispanic Initiatives
Serna will be responsible for leading the CENTURY 21 System in developing more offices that provide culturally relevant and integrated services to the burgeoning Hispanic community. Serna began his real estate career as a sales professional with the CENTURY 21 System more than 15 years ago. His outstanding performance and sales volume in Hispanic markets earned him the distinguished National Association of REALTORS award as the "1997 U.S. Residential Sales Associate of the Year." In 1998, Century 21 Real Estate LLC inducted Serna into the CENTURY 21 Masters Hall of Fame.
Serna's educational background includes an MBA from the Universidad de la Sabana in Bogota, Colombia; as well as international marketing and coaching programs. He has written several sales and coaching books and recently published JUST BEE, a bilingual children's character and diversity coaching program.
Bev Thorne - Senior Vice President of Marketing
Thorne will oversee all elements of marketing for the world-renowned CENTURY 21 brand. Her efforts will focus on strengthening the CENTURY 21 brand and will encompass advertising services, interactive marketing and internal/external communications.
Thorne earned her MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and has worked extensively in the areas of consumer marketing, strategic branding, and event marketing management. Most recently, Thorne served as senior vice president, customer marketing at Chase Home Finance with JP Morgan Chase & Company. Previously, Thorne worked at AT&T for nearly two decades in a series of increasingly senior roles, planning and executing marketing and strategies nationwide.
