2008 Fundraising for Easter Seals Brings All-Time Contributions by
CENTURY 21 System Closer to Goal of $100 Million
PARSIPPANY, N.J. (April 8, 2009) — Century 21 Real Estate LLC, the franchisor of the world’s largest residential real estate sales organization is pleased to announce that 2008 contributions made by members of the CENTURY 21® System exceeded $2.5 million. With this year’s contribution, the CENTURY 21 System has raised nearly $98 million on behalf of Easter Seals since the inception of its philanthropic partnership.

Williams, Jr., president and chief executive officer, Easter Seals, "Contributions from the CENTURY 21 System have allowed Easter Seals to help people living with autism, military service members and veterans, older adults and young children realize dreams and accomplishments never thought possible."
Easter Seals honored the 2008 top fundraisers in the CENTURY 21 System at the CENTURY 21 Real Estate International Convention held recently in San Antonio, Texas. In addition, the top fundraising companies in each of the 28 CENTURY 21 System regions in the United States were also recognized.

For the 14th consecutive year, CENTURY 21 Town and Country, headquartered in Rochester, Mich., was the top CENTURY 21 System contributor to Easter Seals. Led by broker/owner John Kersten, the company raised $770,000 for Easter Seals Michigan in 2008, bringing the companys total contributions to more than $9.8 million since 1992.
With $220,927 in fundraising contributions, CENTURY 21 Judge Fite Company, based in Dallas, Texas, was the CENTURY 21 Systems second largest fundraising entity in 2008. Led by broker/owners Jim Fite and Jan Fite-Miller, CENTURY 21 Judge Fite Company has been an active supporter of Easter Seals North Texas for 10 years.
In 2008, CENTURY 21 Judge Fite also exceeded $1 million in lifetime contributions to Easter Seals.
Drexel Hill, Pa., based CENTURY 21 Alliance earned the No. 3 position on the CENTURY 21 Easter Seals Top 21 fundraisers list in 2008, with $129,628 in contributions.

30th Anniversary Challenge
In addition to recognizing and honoring its 2008 System-wide fundraising champions, Tom Kunz, president and chief executive officer, Century 21 Real Estate LLC, announced its 30th Anniversary Challenge to the CENTURY 21 System to exceed the $100 million dollar fundraising mark for Easter Seals since the inception of its philanthropic partnership in 1979.
