, the franchisor of the world’s largest residential real estate sales organization, has announced the signing of an agreement by its Caribbean master franchisee to open the first CENTURY 21® franchise in Bermuda. The addition of Bermuda expands the CENTURY 21 Caribbean Franchise network to 15 countries and territories throughout the Caribbean, and 68 worldwide.
"Bermuda continues to attract visitors from around the world and the opportunities for home buyers are exceptional right now," said Tom Kunz, president and CEO of Century 21 Real Estate LLC. "We are honored to welcome CENTURY 21 Bermuda Properties and its president, Frederica Forth-Anglies, into our global network."
Bermuda is 670 miles east-southeast of Cape Hatteras on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Bermuda has a highly developed international business economy and is an offshore financial center, which results from its low direct taxation on personal or corporate income.
"It is a buyer’s market and the property values have come down as much as 30 percent and the bank rates are as low as they have ever been," said Forth-Anglies. "The power of the CENTURY 21 brand, the level of professionalism that customers have grown to appreciate and know around the world is one that I am thrilled to be a part of and to bring to the home buyers and sellers in Bermuda. We’re looking forward to pairing the gold jacket icon with our local iconic Bermuda shorts."
