North Glade is a prominent local feature on the SW flank of Snow Mountain. Located just inside the Snow Mountain Wilderness area. If you don't own a 4x4 or hiking boots, this is NOT for you. Access is a bit tough right now, but is being worked on. It is possible to drive right to it, but right now it's a hike. Takes listing agent about an hour to walk to it. After April you can bring your fishing pole and it will make the tour much more interesting. The fishing in Rice Creek can be almost too easy. There is something really special about this location. You have to stand in the center of this glade to really appreciate what all the fuss about wilderness is. As far as I know, no machine has ever touched this magnificent landmark.
