I love houses. Even more, I love helping people make their home, home.In a previous career, I spent over a decade doing policy research here in Washington at the Urban Institute. I loved my work in the policy world in DC, but my desire to help people with their houses always nagged at me.So in 2006, I started a small decorating company called Great Space DC. This venture helped connect me with people who needed decorating help by the hour, and it took off.A few years later I took the plunge and bought my first home to rehab completely. Great Space DC evolved into Great Space Development as the business grew and I bought, rehabbed, and sold more houses.In 2011 I became a licensed REALTOR(R) in DC. I love real estate because it brings together all of my skills - helping people, decorating, research and real estate development. I can spot potential and help my clients see what a house could be.I can walk into a house and tell you what needs to be done to get it sold. I use data, data, and more data to advise on the best price. Few could love culling through hundreds of listings more than me!I am proud to have been a DC resident for over 14 years. My special interests: my husband of 7 years, college football and basketball - Go Badgers! - and houses, houses, houses!I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and I have a Masters Degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
