During his lifetime he has lived in Illinois, Montana and Texas, but has called Lake Charles home for the past 16 years.Prior to joining the real estate business, he was a television news and sports anchor for KPLC-TV, the NBC affiliate for Lake Charles. In that capacity, he conducted hundreds of interviews with professinal, collegiate, and high school athletes and coaches, and with a wide-range of federal, state and local officials, businessmen, and private citizens.In addition to this broad media background, Marty has extensive personal experience in amateur and professional sports. He played for the Louisiana Swashbucklers of the Intense Football League and the Lake Charles Land Sharks of the National Indoor Football League.Marty's experience in broadcasting has given him a rare perspective of the area, and a unique ability to connect with people from every walk of life.
