I was involved in real estate development before becoming active in the business of golf. It was during my Presidency at the Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchison, Kansas (ranked number 24 in Golf Digest's America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses) that we secured the 2004 U.S. Women's Open. In 1998 I joined Troon Golf Development in Scottsdale, Arizona as V.P. of Acquisition and Development, where I focused on the development and management of high-end, private golf courses and clubs. I then became Director of Sales at Black Rock Development in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in the spring of 2001.
