I enjoy the great outdoors; anything that puts me at any of the gorgeous mountain ranges New Mexico has to offer. My husband and I have summitted Wheeler Peak which is the highest peak in New Mexico and gone on many other excursions. I also enjoy golfing, cooking, and relaxing with friends.

My name is Valerie Burkett and I am a third generation New Mexican! I love Albuquerque and plan on raising my family here. I am happily married to my husband Zach of 5 years and we are expecting our first child in early February, 2009. Our love of animals has led us to adopt two dogs and two cats. After a five year career in retail management I attended the University of New Mexico for my bachelors degree in Psychology.I have always been interested in real estate and have a few friends in the business. I have always kept up with the market and have even done some amateur "flipping" and loved it! I decided to follow my real estate interests and enrolled in the Dearborn School of Real Estate in 2007. After successfully completing my real estate licensing requirements I decided to find the best agency in town to work with.I joined Century 21 Unica in 2007 and quickly realized that bar none, I work for the best!
