I was raised in a family that considered the real estate business just a part of growing up: Dad, my two brothers and sister are builders involved in both residential and commercial development. It was a natural that I would begin my career in the "family business" when I moved to the Southlake area in 1991. From a young age I knew I was destined to pursue a career where I would work with interiors, real estate, and development. As a child, I would sit at the dining table with a sheet of paper and a pencil. Starting with one house, and then another, I would create a neighborhood of homes. After I sketched out the first page, I would continue to draw additional neighborhood phases, page after page. I have always been very creative and have always loved being a part of the building process.
In 1994 I pursued a track and cross-country scholarship at the University of North Texas. Originally from San Antonio, my new life in Dallas Fort Worth began with my first year in college. My area of study was in Business and Merchandising of Home Furnishings, graduating with a Master's of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree.
In addition to my education, I have 19 years of experience and strong knowledge in the world of business, as well as in the corporate furniture industry. My experience includes coordinating the opening of over 100 new furniture retailers nationwide. I have been responsible for supervising, hiring, training, and developing merchandisers and operational associates. While working in Corporate America, I learned the importance of building relationships with my clients, colleagues, vendors, CEOs, elite organizations, and charities'.
As an expert in home staging, I know what it takes to get your home market ready. In addition to staging, my background includes a long history of event planning and marketing. I continually visit the Dallas World Trade Center Markets and Dallas Design District to keep up with the latest trends. This is very valuable when it comes to showcasing my client's home in the best way possible. Not only is it important to capture the visual presentation through photography, when marketing your real estate investment, I want the buyer to see themselves living there. It is about making the house your home, from the moment you pull into the driveway, to the experience you feel as you walk through the front door.
