Prior to living in Gurnee, I had moved with my family 4 times in 5 years - in some instances across the country -- and am very familiar with the needs and anxieties faced by today's buyers and sellers. My buyer and seller clients have come to rely on my help in making their moves as financially rewarding and stress-free as possible. I look forward to putting this experience to work for you!
I didn't know it at the time, but my many years in Customer Service have proven invaluable in my real estate career. My clients know I will listen to them and provide them all the information and support they need to make informed decisions -- and let them make the decisions at their own pace.
Communication is critical when purchasing or selling a home. I am almost always available (and have designated back-ups when I'm not). I return calls promptly and make sure my clients are in the loop throughout the entire home buying or home selling process.
I love this business because it's so simple: Treat people well, work hard, keep in touch, give your clients the input they need to make informed decisions, and everything works out! Whether you are looking the perfect home, trying to sellyour current home for top value, or just want to "talk real estate", I look forward to helping you any way I can!

As a long time Lake County resident, I grew up on the North Shore, attended Lake Forest High School, Graduated from the University of Illinois, and while I raised my children I was a substitute teacher in the Libertyville school district.
Now being a Libertyville resident for the past 19 years, together with my previous experience, the extensive knowledge that I have gained first hand of the area schools, park district programs, volunteer opportunities and communities has allowed me to assist my clients in finding them their dream home.
I provide all of my clients First Class Service, Value and Results!

For over 20 years, I have worked in Lake County real estate helping clients buy, sell and improve their homes. Much of my work with Sellers is during the weeks and months prior to the first showing. In addition to reviewing comparable home sales history, I help clients see their home from a buyers' point of view. We rearrange furniture and accessorize often without spending money, advise on what items to store or toss, and refer contacts for repairs, painting and house cleaning. Depending on how long a seller has lived in a home, several visits may be made and the "to do" list is re-prioritized.
My goal with Buyers has always been to make a "Smart Buy"- one with a good location that needs little work but offers the best resale. Over the last few years, my transferees with Abbott Labs, Kraft Foods or Hospira have been even quicker to make improvements and repairs, sometimes before they move in, so they can enjoy the
Since 1994, I have earned several CENTURY 21® sales awards. The ultimate
CENTURY 21® Centurion award is our industry equivalent to the Emmy or Oscar which I have earned 13 times in the last 20 years. I have also placed in the top 10 of all agents within the CENTURY 21® Chicagoland Region the last few years and placed in the top 1% of all agents in Chicago. But I am just as proud to have earned several of our top customer service awards over the years within our office based on client feedback compiled from surveys sent to families following each closing.
In June 2006, I finished my MBA at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, during which I elected to take three of the international trips offered to Europe, Asia and Brazil with an emphasis in International Marketing. We competed in teams not unlike Donald Trump's television show The Apprentice, before it got silly, solving real business problems for real companies overseas. The experience was unbelievable and took us to London, Berlin, Warsaw, Cambridge, Beijing, Bangkok, Rio & Sau Paulo.
I think I am lucky in that I am one of those people who get to do what they love for a living. I enjoy working with people, solving problems, doing research and playing detective. A decade in advertising and sales has prepared me to do a better job at marketing and negotiating for my clients. My passion for home, garden and architecture gives me great ideas to "stage" homes so they show their best. My experiences from moving twelve times with two children and living in six states has given me first-hand knowledge of the stresses and challenges families face when up-rooting their lives. I look forward to helping you buy or sell and walking you through a stress-free closing. I have helped some families in as many as five transactions. I know what I am doing and
do it more than full-time and will personally handle your closing from start to finish.
