Bio: I was born and raised in rural Junction City. Kansas where I spent a lot of time hunting, fishing, hiking, and biking, as a teen and into my 20's I worked for my family's business manufacturing custom built fifth wheel recreational vehicles, I enjoyed working in all the different areas of the plant and learned to build custom cabinets from my dad, welding and metal fabrication from my uncle, and general everyday management, and customer service from my other uncle and my grandfather, while working in other departments over the years I also learned how to do electrical wiring, finish carpentry, lamination, and plumbing. In 2003 after several years of persistence I was finally able to convince Mandy to marry me, we are now going into our 11th year and we have four children Aliah, Faith, Ayden and Logan whom all have their own individual interest and passions including after school sports, art, fishing, hiking, band, and baking. In 2005 I decided to follow in more of my family's footsteps and I became a 3rd generation real estate professional where I practiced in sales and learned about new residential construction, investment and income producing property, commercial property and land development. Mandy and I have invested in several single family and multi- family properties that were in need of rehabilitation and we either managed the properties as rentals or flipped the properties to individuals or investors. In 2011 we started thinking about and looking for new adventures and a new place to call home, we first came to check out Canon City in March of 2013 after already researching the area for about two years Mandy and I agreed that the area would be a nice place to live and raise our children and we immediately felt welcomed by the friendliness of the community, We liked the unlimited amount of outdoor recreational opportunities, mild climate, low taxes, and also took consideration to the relatively short distance to bigger cities, mountain areas, and back home to Kansas if we want to go see family or friends.
