Hi, My name is Becky Bouchard. I work for Century 21 Girardeau Realty. Why did I become a Real Estate Agent you ask? It is my love for people, and Real Estate. I enjoy assisting others in selling or purchasing their homes. My father was into Real Estate up north, and he and I were peas & Carrots, he gave me a love for Real Estate as we worked together for years investing in multifamilies, and managing them. After he passed away, which broke my heart, I decided I needed a career in the sales part of Real Estate in SC. It is good for me getting out, and being with people. I relocated here from Petersham, MA. a small Norman Rockwell kind of town located in Central MA. I spent my summers on Cape Cod with my family as a child, which gave me a true love for the ocean. I LOVE the Charleston area in SC. The water, the harbor, downtown, the intercostal waterway, and the beaches. I feel truly at home in the charming area. For you Northerners, Charleston is very much like Boston. I call it Boston South. LOL! Charleston and the surrounding area is beautiful. I can show you homes by land or by sea. My husband is an avid boater, which gives me the unique opportunity to list, and sell homes on the waterfront arriving by boat. My husband loves to be the Captain as he looks for any excuse to be on the water. I have two amazing daughters also living in SC. My oldest, Mollie just got married this year at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens. She attends MUSC and is finishing up her masters in Micro Biology, and Immunology. From there she will continue her education at MUSC Dental School. My other daughter, Sarah-Rose attends USC in Columbia, and is in her final year. She is an accomplished athlete on the SC Gamecocks Equestrian team. She has earned her keep with USC with 2 SEC Championship rings, and 1 Nationals ring. So proud of both of my daughters. I am so lucky to have found such a paradise to live in. With both daughters living in SC. it seemed to be a no brainer to move here. Best decision I ever made. South Carolina is an amazing place to call home. Are you ready to call SC your home? If you already do, are you ready to buy and/or sell your home? If so I would love to be able to help you. This is what I enjoy doing. Daddy always told me "do what you love, and you will be good at it!" my dad had some good advice.
I have been in the real estate business since 1977 and have owned this franchise since 1988. I moved to Walterboro in 1956 with my wive and we raised 3 children here. My daughter Victoria is a licensed agent and works here with me and both my sons are licensed agents but are currently working in other fields.
