Being the youngest boy I learned early on that to get what I wanted I had to be creative, tough minded and trust my gut. Its what led me on a cross country journey to California where I lived and worked for 12 years. The weather was great, the ocean beautiful but eventually spending more time with my family became more important than sunny skies. I learned a great deal about relocation to a new place and how invaluable community and local information can be to a new resident. To be able to plug into a community quickly, so you can develop that base of friends and support.
