I grew up in Horry County and bought my first beach property when I was a freshman in college. For thirty years after graduation from Clemson University, I was in sales and sales management positions on a state, regional or national level. My wife and I lived in Charlotte but we always maintained close ties to North Myrtle Beach. Our beach house in Cherry Grove was a favorite family destination. About 100 years after my great grandfather first crossed the Pee Dee River to relocate his family just west of Conway, I crossed the same river and came back to Horry County.
In the first year of my career in real estate, I earned the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) designation and the ePro designation. Since then, I've taken courses on short sales, Cooperative Short Sales, and foreclosures (CDPE-Certified Distressed Property Expert). Real Estate keeps changing and knowledge of property and the market is sometimes just the beginning of serving prospective buyers and sellers.

I am originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina and vacationed frequently with my family here in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach. I attended East Carolina University where I earned a B.A. degree in psychology. After seven states, four children and twenty-eight years in high-tech industry, my wife and I have happily moved to North Myrtle Beach.
