Real estate has always been my passion. After graduating from Virginia Tech with a major in Property Management and a minor in Real Estate, I knew there was no better place to begin my real estate career than the DC Metropolitan Area.
Though my employment in the field began with a large commercial firm, CB Richard Ellis in Washington, DC, it was always clear that my true calling was in the residential sector.
I transitioned to Century 21 Redwood Realty in the spring of 2007, which history will show was a rough time to enter the industry.
Despite the housing market turmoil, I grew my business and successfully survived - even flourished - in a challenging market.
Having closed over $40 million in sales volume between 2008 and 2011, I've learned that market conditions are no match for hard work; knowledge presents opportunities; and energy invested is never energy lost.
I feel this "education is power" mentality is ever-present in my way of conducting business, interacting with clients, and - eventually - the level of comfort and excitement each client feels when buying or selling their home.
