THE most important job that I have held for over 14 years has been as a mother to my three boys. I am a very involved parent, volunteering at the schools, coaching basketball, attending musical and sporting events, and I am a top notch taxi driver to boot. My family and I have lived in Zionsville for seven years and plan to be here for a very, very long time. Being in such a wonderful, close knit community really has enhanced our quality of life.
Philanthropy plays a huge part of my life. I have served on many boards and committees to help people over the country and in our own community. I currently hold a fundraising position on the Zionsville Athletic Booster Club, I was a key member to the successful ZBowl 2012 initiatives that were held in Zionsville during the 2012 Super Bowl in Indianapolis. In addition, I have been very involved in the Susan G. Komen Foundation and Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (Pan CAN) as well.
I love all sport, but basketball is my favorite. I played Division I basketball for the Purple Aces of the University of Evansville and I have a brother who was a member of the 1987 NCAA National Champion Indiana Hoosiers Basketball team. My father (Jerry Sloan) was inducted into the National Basketball Association Hall of Fame in 2009 and all three of my boys play the sport too!

My employment has included stints in the Continental Basketball Association (in public relations, media relations, ticket sales, and promotions) and 14 years in the pharmaceutical industry working for one of the top companies in the world, GlaxoSmithKline. I was consistently a top sales performer at GSK and winner of several President's Club Awards during my tenure. I also had the wonderful opportunity to run my family's foundation for 5 years, which is rewarding in so many ways!
