Born and raised in a small town sixty miles outside of downtown Chicago, Steven Powers has thoroughly enjoyed making the transition from rural to urban living in the West Loop after having gained significant experience in finish carpentry and residential construction as well as having served in the Illinois Army National Guard for 8 years. g from an active duty deployment to Afghanistan in 2009.

Having joined the Army in September of 2002, Steven dedicated himself to his fellow comrades and his country. Stevens leadership and discipline were recognized while serving in Afghanistan where he received a field-grade promotion to sergeant. Born in Belize, Nigel, along with his family, emigrated to the U.S. at the age of 5. When I returned to the work force after taking time to start a family, I became a REALTOR® specializing in residential sales in Chicago's North and Northwest neighborhoods and surrounding suburbs.
