Sheri Sutherland, Associate BrokerLicensed Realtor since 1986AS our daughter was entering her freshman year at Central Michigan University, my husband and I sold our home in Birmingham Michigan, our business in Troy, and a Log Home near Lake City to mo ve to Northport. 27 years later we still celebrate the decision that led us to the Leelanau Peninsula. I was fortunate enough to immediately activate my real estate license, my husband AJ able to put his creative expression to use in custom remodeling a rea homes. The community of Northport IS exactly as it presents itself to be. Warm neighborly, and filled to the brim with amazingly talented people. People that are not afraid to try new adventures, to stretch, grow and still maintain the beauty of the region. I am honored to be part of that growth with the opening of Century21 Northland's new Real Estate Office in the Village ofNorthport.

Tom Wiltse is a longtime resident of the Elk Rapids area, having moved to the area with his wife Susan in 1969. Both are graduates of Albion College. Tom taught science at Elk Rapids Schools for 30 years, retiring in 1999. Susan is also retired from teaching, after a 30 year career in early grades at Lakeland Elementary in Elk Rapids. She is currently operating the family self storage business, Pad Lock Storage, with 3 locations in Elk Rapids. The family also owns and operates a small manufacturing business in Elk Rapids, Paddlebuoy, manufacturing and selling paddleboards, since 1974.
Tom Wiltse has been an active Realtor since 2000, and has worked extensively with banks and asset management companies with bank-owned listings and sales since 2005. In addition to this specialized area of real estate, Tom and his team are quite active in the listing and sales of "fair market" residential, lakefront, and second home properties. With the able support of his competent staff, Tom is able to cover a wide range of the real estate market in the north. Although the office is in Elk Rapids, the team handles listings and sales in at least seven counties, including Antrim, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, Wexford, Charlevoix, and Kalkaska counties. Tom does not warehouse his listings. Pricing is an art that experience has helped to perfect. He has one of the shortest "Days on Market" averages in the region, and has sold more of his listings in the last 4 years than any other Antrim county agent. Properties listed at the right price make both buyers and sellers happy. Call Tom Wiltse.

"This is such a great place to live!", she has a win-win attitude which is both contagious and pleasant. "Moving to Traverse City to raise our children, was the best decision their father and I ever made!" Dana's daughter, Jamie Chapman, is a graduate of Dartmouth College and is currently pursuing the sport of rowing as an elite athlete at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center, Vermont. Briggs Chapman, Dana's son, is studying Product Design at the University of Oregon where he also heads up UO SNOW, the University's freestyle ski and snowboard club. You may recognize her as a participant or volunteer at numerous community events ranging from the National Writers Series (NWS) to the Iceman Cometh (mountain bike race). Or, from the sidelines as an enthusiast of youth athletics, often ringing her cowbell.
