Our goal is to get more buyers educated to what is available to them. First time buyers include anyone who has not owned a home in the past 3 years. Many programs require that the buyers be certified to be eligible for these programs, with a Homebuyers Class. These programs include FHA, 203K, VA, Rural Development and grants and bonds offered for specific areas. Sometimes there is a narrow window of opportunity to take advantage of these programs and having a knowledgeable agent is a plus.. First time buyers are understandably overwhelmed with the process.
