He served as President of the Tiftarea Board of REALTORS in 1999, and again 2007. Ron is also very active with the Georgia Association of Realtors (GAR). He has served on the state Finance Committee and Audit Committee, the Executive Committee, the Professional Development Committee, the State and Local Governmental Affairs Committee, The GAR Structural Audit Task Force, and has chaired the GAR Special Recognition committee. He is also a certified pre-license instructor for the Georgia Real Estate Educators Association (GREEA) board of directors. He also served as Dean of the Georgia REALTORS Institute (GRI designation school) in 2005.
