He owns a company that remodels andrestores houses in the Wills Point area, and has rehabbed several historic homes in the city. He is very involved in church life and in the Crisis Center of Van Zandt County.

Peggy's hobbies are painting in acrylics and making home crafts. She is an avid collector of snow people and is known around the area as the snow lady, due to her vast collection of snowmen. Peggy opens her home at Christmastime for an open house to view the snowpeople. Also, she collects Dept. 56 Original Snow Village houses. Any off time she might have, you may see her in antique stores, at First Monday or a flea market looking for primitive antiques.In her spare time, you can find her country western dancing with the Senior Citizens or square dancing. Her husband is the leader of Dean Rogers and the Country Capers Band where he plays bass and sings and their youngest son Rodney plays guitar and is lead vocalist.Peggy is also interested in geneaology. She discovered her great-great grandparents buried in an abandoned cemetery in Fannin County, when the family all these years had thought they were buried in Tennessee. Peggy and her husband are restoring the entire cemetery as they have time.
