Jeff specializes in Commercial Real Estate. He was born and raised in Jersey City and received a BA in Business Administration from Rutgers University and a MBA in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University. After graduate school he spent a number of years in the New York City business world in public and private accounting positions and on the Trading floor of the New York Mercantile Exchange in the energy futures market. The knowledge gained there greatly enhanced his understanding of the financial & economic components of a commercial real estate transaction and provided the foundation for the career in Real Estate that he embarked on in 1987.
Jeff joined Century 21 Plaza Realty in 1998 as the Director of the company's Commercial Division. His specialties include: land development, industrial, retail, office and investment properties. During his career he has acted as a seller/landlord agent, buyer/tenant agent and as a paid consultant on numerous real estate transactions. He strongly believes that the real estate business is much more than just the transfer of real property. It is understanding the relationship of the present use of properties to the surrounding neighborhood and its future potential and development opportunities.
Jeff has been a community activist advocating for the neighborhoods of Jersey City long before Jersey City was a cool place to live & work. He has serviced the community on non-profit and advisory boards such as The Liberty Board of Realtors, Hudson Community Enterprises, Jersey City, Bayonne & Hoboken Jewish Family Counseling Services, the Jersey City Planning Board, Jersey City Environmental commission, the Hudson County District VI Attorney Ethics Committee and the New Jersey Transit Advisory Committee on Hudson/Bergen Light Rail Transit and the Hudson County CEDS Committee. He is well respected among various neighborhood groups throughout Jersey City where he has shared his expertise on real estate matters and land use issues impacting the community. He recognizes that business is not all there is to life. Family and friends are the center of his personal life with interests that include photography, hiking and backpacking, cooking and science fiction. If you have any questions on commercial real estate please contact Jeff. He would be happy to serve you in the most professional and profitable way.
