After years of teaching and ministry, I became a real estate agent in 2005. It was a good fit for me because I love meeting new people and helping people. Since real estate is all about the needs of buyers and sellers, it was a great opportunity to turn my passions into actions! I grew up in South Carolina and have lived my adult life in 4 different southern states including Florida, Georgia, Virginia and now North Carolina. It is wonderful being able to live in the Carolinas again! The Charlotte area is an awesome place to live and work. My husband, Billy Ray, and I have been married since 1999 and we have a blended family. Together we have four grown children and 3 grandchildren. They live all over so it is a challenge getting to see them often. We ar e active in our church were I work with 9th and 10th grade girls. I also love to rock the babies in the nursery! According to Barbara, "Home prices are still dropping in our market. Buyers can get a great deal if they shop wisely. Sellers need to remember that even if they sell low, if they are moving up, the next house they purchase will also be a great deal!"
