I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Education, a Master's degree from Troy University, and an Administrative degree from Auburn University Montgomery. After 25 years as a teacher, administrator, and Principal, I retired just long enough to study and acquire a Real Estate license. My reasoning for choosing Real Estate as a second career was to fulfill a love for interior, landscape, and architectural design. I realized that I could combine my design passion with Real Estate and be effective in the Real Estate profession.
I believe my calling in life is to educate and to combine that calling with my passion for interior decorating, landscaping, and architectural design, I can effectively help others make the best choices in choosing or selling their home.
With education as my lifetime experience and Real Estate as my present profession, my motto states: "Let Bert do your homework and you'll get it right!"
I moved to Montgomery eight years ago and started a popular downtown deli. With 20 years of sales experience and seven years as a business owner I sincerely believe the customer is most important- 'I work for you'!
Let me make your home buying or selling a rewarding experience.
I have been married for 23 years and have 2 children attending universities in Alabama. I enjoy my friends and family here in the Montgomery area. So come join my family and let me be your listing or buyer's agent today.
I was born in Montgomery but live in the Redland area with my lovely wife Malaura in a quaint home on 2.5 acres that was built in 1939. Our four kids and three grand kids enjoy visiting because of the country setting and peace and quiet complete with the huge oak tree in the front yard. I grew up living the Elmore County experience. My Dad took us fishing on the County's lakes and rivers and camping in the beautiful woods all the time. To this day 50 years later I still enjoy a walk in the woods or a ride on the lake or river. There is something for everyone in this wonderful County from fishing to hunting or just a walk in the woods as well as that perfect place to live.
I have been helping families find that perfect place to live for over 20 years now and there is no greater sense of fulfillment for me. I have helped many local land owners realize the maximum potential in selling their property to individuals or developers over the years. I have also been instrumental in selling numerous commercial properties along the 231 corridor in Wetumpka for many years thus bringing new businesses to the area.
I believe in that personalized no stress and "laid back" approach that few can offer in this business. If you are needing to sell or looking for that special place give me a call "anytime".
Other Awards & Recognition:
Ralph Calloway was voted by The Wetumpka Herald, Eclectic Observer, and Tallassee Tribune, as the 2015 Best Real Estate Agent in Elmore County.
I am Ralph Calloway real estate broker associate formally the owner of Calloway Realty and one of the top salesmen in Wetumpka with over 35 years experience in the real estate business. My wife is my full time assistant. I have lived in Wetumpka all of my life. We love Wetumpka for many reasons. Just to name a few, we are only minutes from Montgomery, Prattville, Millbrook, Eclectic, and Tallassee. We have large lakes and rivers with the Coosa River flowing through our town with a public boat ramp and you can travel from here by boat to Mobile, AL. There are also great places to shop, good schools, great soil for gardening, super nice hunting and fishing, and much more.
I am from a family of eleven; nine girls and two boys, my dad was a country Baptist preacher and a logger with a peckerwood saw mill. We didn't have many material things but we had more than we deserved and was rich in faith towards God.
I also live in the country. I have free-range chickens that lay big brown eggs, and grow cold hardy palms. This means some will take severe cold weather down to five degrees and still live in our area. I love to garden. Nothing like fresh stuff to eat! Yum!
My wife and I look forward to meeting you. I am a member of the multiple listing in Montgomery and can show other property other than my own listings at no extra cost to the buyer. Call day or night. I appreciate any referrals you can send my way and may the good lord bless you all.
