I enjoy helping folks sell their current home and find their next one. It's very satisfying for me to work with first time home buyers.
My family and I are active with our church, Meridian Street United Methodist, in Indianapolis . . . . I sing in the choir and we are heavily involved with the Interfaith Hospitality Network hosting homeless families at church several times each year. I enjoy volunteering in Zionsville with the annual Ghost Walk each October through the Sullivan Munce Cultural Center. I am currently serving on the Board of the Sullivan Munce (2014). I have served in various capacities in Zionsville with the Village Resident's Association. Finally, I was involved in our daughter's high school Rowing Team through the Indianapolis Rowing Center.
As a child, my family moved to several communities throughout the state of Indiana and built a new home in each town. My love of home construction started at an early age and I secured my contractors license when building my first home as an adult. Because of my interest and background in home construction, I bring added expertise to my clients when purchasing a home.
I pride myself in providing unparalleled service and outstanding communication to my clients, and differentiating myself from other agents by thinking outside of the box. I am constantly employing innovative marketing ideas and using advanced technology to stay on top of the industry. When listing your home with me, I commit to marketing your home to emotionally connect with qualified buyers. My expertise in home staging can help to showcase your home in the most favorable light. I also truly enjoy working with buyers and helping you to find the home of your dreams. I am a top broker of new-construction Ryland Homes and am a certified relocation specialist.
I have been an Indianapolis-area realtor with CENTURY 21 since 2005 and focus my business on the north side of the city and in the beautiful suburbs of Zionsville, Brownsburg, Carmel, Westfield and Whitestown. In 2013 I joined the Zionsville office CENTURY 21 Scheetz where I have been the Top Individual Producer in 2014 and 2015 YTD. In my free time, I enjoy cheering for my children at their sporting events and watching HGTV.

I have lived in Indiana for more than 20 years and am proud to call it home! I was born in Michgan, spent my elementary years in Scottsdale, Arizona and made a brief stop in Milkwaukee, Wisconsin, before my family settled back down in Michigan and that is where I graduated high school. My college years were spent in Arizona.I graduated from Arizona State in 1986 with a major in Finance and minors in Economics and Spanish. This was a time that I will never forget with the TriDelts, Greek Leaders, Campus Service, and amazing friends. At the end of college, I met a Wildcat guy (University of Arizona) who later became my husband. In the time that we dated, we had to work through the issues of being HUGE rivals of two Pac-10 schools. After graduating college, we both worked in California; I worked in Northern California, while my husband, John, was in Los Angeles. Ultimately we found that if we moved to the Midwest, we could "cure" some of our undergraduate rivalry issues, so we made a move to Chicago while John completed grad school. In 1991, we settled down in Zionsville, Indiana. After moving, John started working for Eli Lily & Company and I began a Career in medical sales until 1996, when our third child, AnnCatherine, was born. I took some time off and in 2004, I decided it was time to go back to work; this is when I made my move to real estate.
John and I are proud parents of four living children. Our oldest, Tim, is a junior at the University of Georgia, and we do not get to see nearly enough of him. He is active in his fraternity, Phi Delta Theta, the club crew team at the university and this past summer, he worked at the Brazilian Consulate. Our oldest daughter Lillie is a senior at Zionsville Community High School. She is busy with many things including playing varsity tennis and making college decisions. Our daughter AnnCatherine is a freshman, also at Zionsville Community High School. She is a cheerleader and a tennis player, which is pretty impressive because she has Down Syndrome and must overcome many obstacles to do what she does. Our youngest, Mari, is a seventh grader at the International School of Indiana, where our two also attended all the way through middle school. Mari is also a tennis player and has been involved in basketball. We love the culture at the International School, as well as the people, academics and the fact that our children are trilingual by the time they go to high school. We have also had an amazing experience with the Zionsville schools and cannot say enough about their academic support that we've received for our AP scholars as well as for our special needs child!
I am fluent in Spanish and think I am Latina. I have had the honor of being a part of a Presbyterian Church plant in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico for several years, and I have loved every minute of it! Not only am I fluent in Spanish, but I can speak enough French to be dangerous! I enjoy using my language skills "for good and not evil" by teaching Spanish home buying classes to first time homebuyers.
Although Indiana offers me neither the mountains of Colorado for skiing, nor the beaches of South Carolina, it is my home and I am proud to call it that!
I chose real estate because it is a privilege to help people reach their goal in what is the single, largest financial transaction that most people undertake. It takes expert negotiation, finesse, sensitivity, and a deep understanding of the local market. I enjoy being "an expert" in these abilities and using my talents to help others reach their goals.
I chose Century 21 because it is home. When I went to real estate I wanted to work with the best in the business. Century 21 Scheetz in Indiana has a phenomenal reputation and is led by respected, seasoned brokers. Century 21 itself, is respected and known both nationally and internationally. Their web presence offers both sellers and buyers advantages that other brokerages can not offer.
THE most important job that I have held for over 14 years has been as a mother to my three boys. I am a very involved parent, volunteering at the schools, coaching basketball, attending musical and sporting events, and I am a top notch taxi driver to boot. My family and I have lived in Zionsville for seven years and plan to be here for a very, very long time. Being in such a wonderful, close knit community really has enhanced our quality of life.
Philanthropy plays a huge part of my life. I have served on many boards and committees to help people over the country and in our own community. I currently hold a fundraising position on the Zionsville Athletic Booster Club, I was a key member to the successful ZBowl 2012 initiatives that were held in Zionsville during the 2012 Super Bowl in Indianapolis. In addition, I have been very involved in the Susan G. Komen Foundation and Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (Pan CAN) as well.
I love all sport, but basketball is my favorite. I played Division I basketball for the Purple Aces of the University of Evansville and I have a brother who was a member of the 1987 NCAA National Champion Indiana Hoosiers Basketball team. My father (Jerry Sloan) was inducted into the National Basketball Association Hall of Fame in 2009 and all three of my boys play the sport too!
Other Awards & Recognition:
My employment has included stints in the Continental Basketball Association (in public relations, media relations, ticket sales, and promotions) and 14 years in the pharmaceutical industry working for one of the top companies in the world, GlaxoSmithKline. I was consistently a top sales performer at GSK and winner of several President's Club Awards during my tenure. I also had the wonderful opportunity to run my family's foundation for 5 years, which is rewarding in so many ways!
My goal as your real estate agent is to do everything I can to help you meet your real estate needs, while having fun at the same time! I believe in giving 110% in everything I do, and you deserve nothing less. We have the best tools in technology, internet, and a comprehensive marketing strategy, that helps us tailor a personal plan for each individual client. My approach is NOT a cookie cutter approach. it's all about YOU!
I have spent most of my professional life in sales, marketing, and public relations. My degree from the University of Evansville I thought would land me a job as a sports reporter ESPN, but I soon learned that I laughed too much to be in front of the camera!
Please give me a call or email. I pride myself on my follow up, communication and attention to detail. I will give you 110% to achieve all of your real estate needs. I look forward to meeting you!
My goal is to put my clients first and to provide a high level of service helping each client to sell their home and find the home of their dreams! My goal is to make the process as stress free as possible and to communicate effectively and frequently as I strive to meet the needs of my clients.
Real estate was a natural fit. My husband, Steve, has been working in the real estate industry for over 16 years and we love working together to serve our clients. We also have spent a lifetime renovating and decorating properties. He is very handy, so if I can dream it, he can build it!
