"I feel like we have so much freedom and a lot of options in our class choices compared to other schools. Changing your schedule may be difficult if you dislike your classes though."

"While Central is easily the best school in Springfield, it has its definite drawbacks. A raucous student body as well as inefficient classes stunt the potential of the school. If there was more potential on maximizing learning instead of controlling the students, the school would be more successful than it is."

"Simply put, Springfield Central High School is the best high school available to many of us in Springfield and in surrounding cities. No other school offers the vast amount of classes and extracurricular activities. We get a lot of decision in the classes we want to take which gives us really unique transcripts and allows us to experiment. Also, there are many opportunities to join clubs and get involved. It's a sham that most kids besmirch our schools reputation by wasting their opportunities."

"Culture is alright. There's a lot of peer pressure to conform. Everyone is accepted for the most part except for the minority (whites). I'm an athlete and I must admit that we get away with a lot of stuff that would normally get us in trouble. Obviously I don't mind but it definitely bothers those who aren't included."

"As far as I know, kids aren't the most judgmental or bigoted. You do hear occasional homophobic or racist slurs and jokes as you walk in the hallway or eat in the cafeteria. But administrators are great when it comes to reports of these incidents. The school is pretty diverse but very separated, for example, we have the Asians, the "Gualas", Band Kids, Theater Kids, Jocks."
