"I loved spending my past four years of High School here at Monument. It is filled with the most knowledgeable teachers who are also dedicated. The athletics are both challenging and rewarding. Aside from athletics and academics there's a plethora of outside activities."

"The teachers here are the most wonderful people. They care so much about helping each individual and their goals are to have everyone kid in their class succeed. The teachers are usually available for you to go ask questions or to get help on something you don't quite understand. They also know so much about their topic and are able to teach it very well. Although the school is quite old and could use some renovations, its got its own unique qualities like the brick walls and such but its not so bad that you cant learn in their. There is also a great art department and lots of varieties in the types of classes and electives"

"The classes monument offers are great. We have classes to learn how to make movies, write graphic novels, grow plants and maintain crops, learn the paino, even hike in the woods for three days at a time. there is something for everyone here and if not then you can get an internship wherever appropriately meets your academic needs and experiences. Teachers understand that students have busy lives, they try not to drown us with additional work."

"My school isn't very diverse. I would guess that 75% of my schools students are white. However the other 25% have never been treated unfairly or differently simply because of their ethnicity. Our students are very accepting when it comes to difference. Whether it be Intrests, ethnicity, academic ability or financial position. We love and accept everyone."

"The thing I love most about my school is that it's unlike any other. It is rather small, but the impact students have on the schools environment is huge. There is little to no bullying, students are always friendly and accepting. We are unlike other schools in that we don't praise the football team or stress social status. We don't have "the popular kids" or "the nerds." As far as the student body is concerned, everyone's equal and our differences are celebrated."
