"Throughout my 4 years through high school, I can honestly say that I had a somewhat enjoyable time along with experiences of new knowledge and learning. Of what I appreciate of this school are that most of the faculty members who are understanding and relatable towards the students, though there are some teachers who are too old fashioned and complicated for teaching. And what I wish that could change would be the entire facility itself where the learning environment would be more up to date with today's advances so that the students could feel more relax and refresh with a more newer and cleaner building."

"I enjoyed the diverse personalities that I came across during my time there but I disliked the atmosphere of incompetence."

"I love Doherty. The teachers are great and willing for the most part work with us. That being said the school building is falling apart. There is Aspestos in the windows and believed to be lead in the bubblers. It is underfunded as it becomes a scavenger hunt to find a printer with ink and paper if the liabary is out. Many of the books for classes which need to be kept update on are over twenty years old like Sociology, Psychology, or History. The teachers do their best and often use the computer for more recent research. Many of the teachers understand when we can't find a working printer and will accept the work a day late. Overall great people but not a great building of funding."

"While many of Doherty's teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, the school itself and the way it's managed is terrible. The school is falling apart, it smells awful, the window caulking can cause cancer and the water has lead in it. The school is run highly ineffectually, and the money is squandered on useless things when it should go to improving other things."

"I have been a student since 2013 and I graduate 2017. I basically did all my high school there. What I like about Doherty is the diversity and the many different groups of people. there are many sports and clubs available, but not many people get involved in them simply because they don't know about them. the food quality is not the best. they also need to have more college readiness programs for those who don't really know a lot about it and have no one to guide them."
