"Honestly, if you have a chance to send kids to this school, send them! However, I have very mixed feelings about some things in this school. The only academic approach is rigor which doesn't work for all students and teachers do go overboard at times. The athletic department also receives extra money and does illegal things which is why were getting sued for $75,000. Bullying isn't an issue - if you pass as normal. Overall, the good does outweigh the bad in the school. We have great academics, great food, great teachers and good traditions."

"I like attending Wayland High School. The school has a very friendly atmosphere. The teachers are very helpful and I have really good friends. The school itself is on the smaller side with class sizes of under 200 students. This makes the course offerings limited compared to larger schools. Therefore, I found myself needing to take online courses to supplement my academics at school."

"I liked that Wayland has the support when needed and does have an amazing academic program. That being said it is test based. It is less learning to learn and more to test take. It puts more resources and attention towards sports than arts. It is not very diverse without METCO it would be mostly white. The culture in Wayland tends to be clicky and stress inducing."

"My experience in Wayland High School was overall nice. The school has a great diversity in almost everything: sports, clubs, etc."

"Overall, I believe that I was privileged enough to be given the opportunity to attend this school. My school is associated with the METCO Program, which is an organization that allows students from low-income homes to attend suburban school such as Wayland High School. Every school has its problems, but this school has honestly given me endless benefits that I truly do not believe I would have received at any other school. It's been an honor to be a student at this school, and I'm going to miss every bit of it."
