"I like most of my teachers, with some exceptions. But I wish some of our subject areas were more challenging and had better teachers."

"We have some very excellent teachers but there are other teachers who are only still employed because of the teachers union."

"The teachers at Burlington High School are both extremely knowledgeable, and quite approachable. The teachers at this school have a great blend of teaching methods to comply with the various preferred learning techniques of all students whether it be hands-on or visualization. Overall, within B.H.S the teachers put their 100% effort into ensuring their students the highest education they can from that course. The teachers love hearing about our families, our occupations, etc.. this keeps the professional relationship jovial and comfortable. The way these teachers grade are either based off point systems or standard. Always fair and equally consistent."

"My high school experience was definitely something I will cherish for my years. I remember being a fourteen year old freshman, not even knowing where the bathrooms were. As I furthered my high school career through the years, I found myself making special bonds with both my peers and even faculty. Burlington High was and is currently an extremely supportive and accepting school; whether it be within sexual orientation or religion. If I had the opportunity to relive my time at Burlington High, I believe I would. Purely because of the fact being the staff was so dedicated to helping us pursue our education and our lives after High School."

"If I were to begin my high school years again, I would choose Burlington High School. The entire environment of BHS is friendly and supportive from the teachers, to the custodians, to guidance, and the cafeteria workers. The environment allows students to be who they are and feel included. Every student organization and sport is supportive and respectful of each other. One of the best ways to witness this unique melting pot is to attend a Friday night football game. The game involves the football players, cheerleaders, band, color-guard, dance team, and is well attended and supported by students from every other organization and sport on campus. BHS allows students to be who they are and thrive in this amazing culture. I consider myself very lucky to soon be graduating from a school that has helped me to grow into the person that i am today."
