"So far my experience at this school hasn't matched other reviews I've seen. The teachers here aren't that great, very few people in administration view students as human beings instead of just robots here to learn. The guidance councilors are horrible."

"A lot of the teachers suck. I have hours worth of homework every night. Only students with IEP's are allowed study time in school."

"Theres a lot of cliques, well theres really only two, the 'popular' people then everyone else. But there is a lot of mingling between friend groups."

"Some of the teachers are absolutely amazing, but theres very few of them. I've had a teacher yell at me while I was having an anxiety attack in class and she refused to let me go to the nurse or guidance. The teachers are suppose to use standards based grading, but they don't have a consistent way of doing it. For example, in one of my classes a 2 can range from a C to a B- while in another one of my classes, a 2 is failing. There is clearly a huge difference between a C and failing. The teachers don't care about the fact that students are taking 7 other classes and expected to have jobs do clubs and work. Students are given so much homework each night. A lot of times I'm up late at night doing my homework, most of the time not even finishing it completely. Then the next day at school I'm tired and unable to focus. It's a cycle of staying up late and falling behind in school. The teachers don't care about each students learning style. They just care about giving summatives and formatives."

"In regards to the teachers that I have had experience with in my school, many were very engaging in the material and tried to get the whole class to participate. Many teachers walk around the room to ensure students understand the material and to ask if any help is needed. The teachers try different methods of teaching from lectures, labs, and self-guided teaching."
