"I would consider my high school experience to be average. I took all honors and AP classes at Bellingham High School. The classes could be challenging at times, but more often than not I found myself wanting more. I think an adjustment needs to be made in the curriculum at the school, I didn't find myself properly prepared for college academics. On a better note, my experiences with the teachers at Bellingham High School was almost always great. I formed bonds with some of my teachers who became very invested in my well-being and success. I am still in contact with some of my old teachers and wouldn't be where I am today without them."

"The teachers at Bellingham High School can be difficult to generalize into a single group. Many of them just do what is required of them in their contract and that is it. Some of them, however, are actually concerned with your education. These are the teachers that not only stay on the days that they are required until the time they are required, but if you need more help than that, or those days do not fit your schedule, they will accommodate for you. Some teachers will stand at the front of the class and give lectures all period long, while others will have you sit in a circle and discuss your interpretations of the book you are reading."

"we have many advanced placement classes and the teachers that teach those courses like the subject and show interest in the subject. we do not have a lot of extra curricular classes like shop which I think would be great to include if they had the funding."
