"I'm going to be brutally honest. I've been to Montrose since the beginning (6th grade) , it used to be the center of my life. I loved it so much it was unbelievable. However, as the years went on, and the quality of the school went down and the tuition went up, I started to be disappointed. This school, used to be great. But then as the years went on, I realized things changed. This school changed. They don't care about you, they care more about the money your paying to go there. They're interested in donations ALL THE TIME. AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THE SCHOOL DOES WITH OUR MONEY BECAUSE IT LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME EVER SINCE I JOINED EXCEPT FOR THE GYM THAT WE GOT THAT WE DIDN'T NEED??!! So many people have left over the past two years because of how much it's changed. This school shelters people, it doesn't prepare them for the real world. Maybe we'll be prepared for college but thats as far as it goes. Theres barely any diversity, it's full of white girls. (not that there's anything wrong with that) They're interested in the girls that fit into their mold, and if anyone breaks that mold, then your not "Montrose Material." Overall I'm just saddened by whats happened to such a good school. People are leaving, the tuition is rising, and few are joining. As I graduate soon to pursue my future, I don't think this school has much of one."

"Teachers do usually tend to care about students. However the problem is many students end up repeating teachers MULTIPLE times throughout their whole time at Montrose. In most schools if you have a problem with a teacher, you usually can get a new one every year. However at Montrose since the school is so small you can receive this teacher multiple times throughout your time here. Not only that but it doesn't prepare you for college because you end up being too comfortable with the teacher and memorizing her teaching style if you get her a couple of times. In contrast to college where you get a different teacher every time, and you need to learn to adapt to different teacher's teaching styles. Not only that but all the teachers in this school are WOMEN, so it's very unrealistic when you go out to the real world, and realize that in real life you get MALE and female teachers. In conclusion you either get lucky at this school. You either get an extraordinary good teacher, or you get an awful one. There's really no in between. And if you do get a bad one, be prepared to be stuck with her multiple times throughout your time at Montrose."
