"The teachers are very good at creating a community that is welcoming and inclusive for everyone. There is a place you can go, no matter your situation, and find some teacher who will support you and help you through anything. Many of them stay after, and come in very early, to work with students and extend their prep time in order to have the best classroom experience they can create. With the limited technology we have, the teachers use it well and incorporate into their lessons and everyday class, as well as extra creative projects. Many will go beyond their lessons to find answers to their students questions and are very willing to help in the students' quest for knowledge. The lessons are interactive and engaging and the teachers check in on their students as often as they can to make sure nobody falls behind."

"I had a variety of ways to express myself and my ideas. It was a safe space to learn and explore new opportunities as a student. Most are very accepting of any culture or choice one makes for themselves and there was a lot of support for those who maybe didn't fit in. There was a place for everyone where they felt like they could be safe and loved. There were clubs that covered every range of activity and sports teams that were widely supported and successful. The arts program was large and very well supported by the community and offered many different types of musical and artistic expression. I could be a well rounded student and do everything I loved and also succeed academically."

"There are a variety of classes that you can participate in to pique your interests. The amount of extra classes that you could take was large and well balanced. The core classes were abundant and the teachers worked very hard to make them engaging. Being in the harder classes, you got more homework and it was more challenging, but the easier classes weren't neglected. They were still held to a certain standard. Scheduling classes was, most of the time, as simple as writing down what classes you wanted on a piece of paper. Changing your schedule didn't require too much maneuvering so you could always find a good place for yourself and your classes. Art and music classes were particularly popular among students because it gave a creative outlet and everyone got to show off whatever skills they wanted. We also had a CTE section that was very well funded and kept up. People could graduate able to go straight into certain working fields, or expand their knowledge at a university, but they were certified technicians, electricians, computer repair guys, cosmetologists, ect. straight out of high school."

"The diversity is very good. I had peers and friends who were from every part of the world. Many of them were bilingual and there was a lot of different cultural and religious views. There was wide acceptance throughout the school of someones choice of sexual orientation and it was even encouraged and widely supported that you be free to be yourself. You didn't have to hide who you were from the people in the school, and it offered sanctuary to some kids who weren't accepted at home. There was some divide between people simply due to a language barrier, where a section of the school barely spoke english, if at all. Despite all our differences we were one unified school and would stand with each other against any adversity. We were not afraid to have our voices heard and we refused to be ignored. There were no really bad cliques and nobody was really bullied harshly. In high school we are all just trying to find where we belong, and I am proud to say that I am from a school that really let everyone find who they were and encouraged them to follow their dreams, despite anything that might stand in their way."

"My overall experience at this school was actually very good I made very close relationships with teachers and classmates. This school is very diverse and if I had to choose a high school to attend I'd choose this one in a heart beat."
