"Boston University has some of the best customer service I have ever experienced as a student so far in life. They are helpful, friendly, and clear on all questions that students have. The amount of resources are amazing!"

"I've attended BU Academy since the 9th grade. 9-10th graders take either Ancient Greek or Latin as a language, unless they can place into a high level language course. This causes problems if you want to continue a language you've studied in middle school, because it is very hard to make exceptions. The school doesn't want to push you into a college level course too early, but BUA doesn't teach any other languages. 12th graders get the most freedom. The only class requirements that you take 1 literature course each semester, and finish calculus 1. Seniors also have a "Senior Thesis"; A 4000-6000 word research paper with a 20 minute presentation at the end of the year. (The thesis is the hardest part) Pros: people are very invested in their passions. Math program is good. Cons: Everyone needs a tutor for Physics. There is diversity in the student body, but not in the faculty. Small school, small sports teams (sometimes we don't even have enough people for a full team)."

"I am a student at BUA and so far, my school life is very stressful but worth it. After all, the pressure that the school gives you will really pay off later on. The teachers here are so supportive and easy to talk to. True, the diversity is not the best here but I do think that it is better than the schools I attended previously. Overall, BUA is for students who are motivated and independent."

"What makes this school unique is its rigorous classes, as well as the fact that juniors and seniors can take classes at BU. There is such a volume of work at times, however, that there isn't always time for social interaction."

"Most teachers at this school utilize conversation in their classes. Some even go as far as implementing mini group projects and labs, which can be sometimes good and sometimes bad, but the conversational aspects of the humanities classes definitely improve the experience."
