"There is a wide range of classes and levels available to students. It can be challenging to understand how to best guide your student as homework policies are not consistent among teachers even for the same level course. Students are allowed to challenge themselves as much as they'd like though and teachers are very supportive and caring of students who put forth effort."

"I transferred into this school from another country my junior year, which was quite daunting. But most people were very helpful in assisting my transition which I really appreciate."

"Regarding diversity / acceptance of people of various sexual orientations / gender identities, the school tries really hard, especially with Own Your Peace. I'd say that for the most part people are accepting of the LGBTQ+ community and aren't racist, but prejudice and discrimination are still very easily seen. In terms of competition, some people are really cut-throat, but in the end most people do collaborate / try to help each other so that both can do well."

"The teachers are amazing, as I already went over. The core classes are very standard (there aren't many schools where you can avoid 3 years of history, 4 years of English, 2 years of a foreign language, etc), and in my opinion are very enriching. Once you get to senior year you have a LOT of freedom in choosing your classes, and all of the options are good. For example, one kid could have a schedule consisting of Greater Boston Project, Environmental Science, Mandarin, Statistics, and Government, while another kid could have a schedule consisting of English, French, Psychology, Biology, and Calculus, and both will learn a lot and have phenomenal teachers."
