"The teachers do not care about the students at all. They let bullying happen in their classrooms everyday."

"Teachers at this school care about students and provide students with the resources necessary to success. All faculty at this school are dedicated to the success of every student, and no matter the student's needs they are committed to meeting them. They truly do provide students with integrity and the tools for success in a changing world (their mission statement paraphrased)."

"Like stated previously, this school provides everyone with the necessary tools for success and meets the needs of every student. DY High is dedicated to the success of their students, and provides everyone with academically challenging and integrity building experiences. Much like the characteristics of a dolphin, the school mascot, each member of the Dennis-Yarmouth community contributes to the success and achievement of each and every student."

"First of all, I came from a whole other school system and state, so I have another school to compare this one. Personally, I feel the teachers won't help a struggling student unless the student makes the effort to get help. This is fine in some cases, and can teach a valuable lesson, but the teacher should at least show that they're concerned. This way, the student knows they can be given the help they need without being talked down to, which happens a lot with these teachers. However, the approach the teachers take with their lessons is very engaging. I was definitely given a reality check when I moved; my old school is nothing to this one when you compare the academics. On the other hand, my old school's teachers were much more approachable and willing to help. As for the grading part, a few teachers are very quick, but more often than not, it sometimes takes even a month for a test grade to come in; but by that point report cards are coming out and the student can't work on boosting that grade up anymore. It isn't entirely fair, but I guess you have to take into account that teachers aren't just teachers when they leave the school (Oh my god they leave the school?? I know! It's crazy! Next, they'll be telling us the sky is actually blue)."
