"Taunton High school offers a wide range of classes, with many unique choices such as 20th century Dictators and Disasters, Anatomy, and Graphic Design. The weakest field in the school is math, it being the lowest in performance statistically, as well as having poorly skilled teachers being most of the department."

"To be honest, it varies. I've had/have known teachers that spend hours after school, are approachable, and put everything they have into their careers. Then there are teachers who can't effectively teach a lesson and really leave the students to learn most of the content on their own. The latter seems to appear more in AP classes (definitely not all of them), and the teacher will justify their failure to teach by saying "well, it's an AP class!" But don't get me wrong, there are a lot of well taught AP classes. Overall, I've only had one class that was graded unfairly to the point where one student would have one answer marked right and another student would have the same answer marked wrong. Basically the education at THS is decent. Not terrible, but there aren't enough teachers and students going the extra mile to make it good."

"the teachers try their hardest to understand us students. The quality of their teaching styles shows that they have put much effort into the lesson"

"THS is interesting because there are all types of people there. Most people find it easy to find and make friends and there are plenty of activities to do. It seems to me that a lot of people are really passionate about the school, but if anything it's just a stereotypical high school. Nothing really makes it unique except maybe the fights at lunch and the random drug search last year. The facilities at the school are really nice though. Gorgeous library, good football field, new cafeteria this upcoming year, chrome books, smart boards, etc. If I got the chance to do it all over again I probably wouldn't though. The student body and community is nice, but I know that even though Taunton High's academics aren't bad, I could be getting a better education elsewhere."
