"As far as academics I believe this school is great, and gives their students the best. But there is conflict with accommodating students who need help such as myself and would never recommend someone in a bad place to go here."

"The teachers at this school are okay, overall. A few go out of their role and challenge you in a positive way and some teachers are for the worse and do nothing but chastise you."

"I attended Times Squared from Kindergarten to 12th grade. I think that a lot of teachers give 100%, but the highest teaching quality a student can receive comes in high school. Mr. Wynkoop, Mrs. Wynkoop- Berard, Mr. Herard, Dr. Fontaine, Mrs. Childress, Mrs. Grey, Mr. Hurd, Mr. Johnson, and Mrs. Moronta- Difo have given a tremendous amount to students, no matter what situation they go through. They care about students like we were their own children. I don't think that one could find more dedicated teachers in all of Rhode Island. Teaching styles vary according to grade and student. Although we are a small school with around 30 students in a graduating class, our teachers always attend to each student in an individual manner. A wide range of teaching styles are used in order to appeal to the different learning styles of the students in the class. Lectures are given, discussions held, hands on projects assigned, group projects offered. Throughout the course of a year, no student will feel as though they were not understood intellectually by these teachers. The teachers are extremely knowledgeable not only about the subject that they teach, but life in general; this is very useful because they are more than willing to share some of their own life experiences and advice. It is easy to communicate with the teachers at Times Squared, especially the high school teachers. Each teacher has a school affiliated email for students and parents to contact. In addition, the teachers can typically be found coming early to school and staying very late, around five or six o'clock in the evening. Not only is this amazing because they are not getting paid to do so, but it makes it very convenient to talk and meet with them at times that it is needed. Their doors are open and they are willing to do anything that they can to help them. The teachers are fairly consistent in grading. Rubrics are given at the beginning of each school year, and we are graded accordingly."

"The academics at this school are great. One of the only downfalls is that there is not really a scheduling process. Most students in the same grade take the same classes, because he school is so small. The teachers are amazing, the curriculum is challenging but well prepares people for college, and if study help is needed, it can be received."

"My favorite experiences were mock trial and all of the formal events we had (sophomore, junior, and senior winter ball and junior and senior prom). My overall experience at the school was great. Since I attended the school from Kindergarten to 12th grade, I have never had an experience at another school. This school is so unique because it is very small, which allows connections to be formed between peers and teachers that could not be made if the school was larger. This school is also unique because of the teacher's dedication toe excellence. Even when administration was attempting to lower educational standards, the teachers still held students to an excellent standard. I would choose this school again if I could do it all over because the preparation I received for college and the real world is at such a high caliber I don't think I could get it anywhere else. In addition, the relationships that I made with some friends and all of my teachers from all 13 years are very important to me. The teachers support me even though I no longer walk the halls of the school. They keep in contact with me and care about my well being, like I care about theirs. I have grown in ways that I never thought possible under the watchful eye of Times Squared Academy, and I wouldn't change it for anything."
