"My favorite experiences that I had at this school all had to do wtih sport events. Everyone always came out for sports events and always enjoyed everything about that. Friday night football games under the lights were always my favorite. I played lacrosse for all four years and the way we progressed as a team was one of my favorite memories. We went from the bottom and slowly worked our way up. By my senior year we made it to the final four, and the year after i graduated they actually won the championship. All my favorite memories from this school originated from sports. Why I wouldn't probably choose to go to this high school again was because the change that occured between my sophomore and junior year. When the principal changed we lost almost all the fun. Winter carnival and homecoming were cut short to almost nothing. That has changed since I have graduated but still it really made me not enjoy school as much."

"It is a little too far from home for me, I wish I chose a school closer to home. It is hard for me to make friends too since I do not go out and that is how most people make friends."

"In the four years I was at Laconia High School I saw a lot of changes being made to try and better the school. At first a lot of kids were very upset with these changes because it took away a lot of the fun in school and was mostly focused on academics. The first two years were very laid back and teachers weren't very hard on us. The last two years were completely different. The teachers were very big on making sure every student was doing the work they had to to get by, they didn't want any child to slip through the cracks. The change has only continue to grow. My sister is a junior at LHS right now and tells me how much it has changed and how much she loves most of her teachers and how they put in time to help her when she needs it. I think there is still improvements that need to be made but I believe that Laconia has come a long way from where it started."

"I am a first year here at Keene and I feel that many of the teachers really care about the students and want to help them succeed."

"There is a balance of lenient and strict teachers at this school. There are not many clubs offered and the principal preaches that AP and honors students should not have time for athletics because there should be too much homework assigned in these courses to acheive excellence in both athletics and academics. The principal does however, modivate students to acheive academic excellence. The Huot Technical Center is attached to the school and this allows students to get a jump start in their careers. As a student of Laconia High School, I am content but not necessarily pleased."
