"I love how the school is also a career technical center, because it really shows how there are so many diverse careers out there, and there are so many learning opportunities. The teachers don't expect you to know every detail about a specific program. They are ready to teach, help you prepare for the real world, and make sure the program is not only right for you, but make sure you actually want to pursue it. Dover has amazing sports teams and has undying spirit when it comes to games, competitions, and pep rallies. Dover has great sports teams, that usually win games and become state champs. The atmosphere at the school is comfortable and everyone around you is welcoming. The only things I wish would change at Dover, would be the bathrooms need renovating, the building needs more air conditioning in the summer, and heat during the cold months. I wish the student body and faculty were more diverse culturally."

"Dover is pretty normal. There isn't anything that really stands out except for the athletic program. The food is generally decent, but can be pretty bad. There isn't much diversity, and the safety of the school is iffy. Over the past month, we've gotten 3 threats."

"I am a former student of Dover High, I loved my four years at the school! With the students accepting of all and the teachers ready to teach! I would love to have my children go to Dover!"

"Dover's alright. It's your average high school experience. I thoroughly enjoy the music department here and I wish it had more attention paid to it, because some of the best achievements of the school are through that department. I am not involved in sports so I can't really tell you about that. The school building itself is disgusting, but since a new school is currently being built on the same site, I can't really complain anymore. I wish there were more AP options. I also think that administration could do better in terms of discipline- it seems as though kids who are discriminated against are treated as part of the problem, and the actual discriminators are not. In terms of teachers, it's really hit-or-miss. There are some amazing teachers and some terrible teachers in every department. Overall, Dover's not bad and I don't regret my time here, but I also can't wait to leave."

"Some things I loved about Dover High School is their wide verity of classes that they offer. I also love their CTC program there. I took Veterinary Science there and I loved how hands on it was."
