"Some teachers are great. They go above and beyond to help students. But most teachers don't really care about the students, and are just bad teachers in general."

"Honestly, this goes on a teacher by teacher basis. I've found that out of the four years that I've attended SHS, 6 of the teachers I had actually cared about their students."

"Springfield High School has so many opportunities. In my first year I was able to move classes around to get into a Senior art class. In my second year, they accommodated my want for French classes and Spanish. The faculty really do care about helping you get the classes you want, the sports and clubs you like, and they push you to do your best."

"SHS was once the glorious school that everyone across Vermont knew as the sports capital as the state. Due to a dropping population and a rising drug issue, the school and sports teams are going down fast. It's actually really sad, because the town is so full of people trying to make it the same as it used to be and no one can think about the potential it has as a newer town. There is so many smart kids in Springfield, my American Studies class was full of bright kids, but with the lack of challenging classes, the kids are getting bored and are falling behind like the rest. I just wished that SHS was more applied and cared. There is so much potential in that tiny town."
