"Even though Mt. Abe doesn't have the most money or resources, I think that the community of supportive teachers, community members, and students makes this school a great place to learn and grow up. There are many opportunities to get involved in clubs, from environmental club to the fall and spring musical. Also, the variety of classes that are offered help engage students with different interests."

"Most of the teachers here were amazing! However, many of those amazing teachers have retired and new ones were hired and I don't know these new ones. Many of the teachers hired are very knowledgeable and make classes interesting for students so they aren't falling asleep in class."

"If I could do it over again, I would do what my younger sister did which was to participate in the personalized learning program instead of traditional classes. Then, before my senior year I would apply for the early college program and hope that I got in so that I could just take college courses for free (minus paying for books). This school lacks a good variety of traditional classes which is why I had decided to graduate a semester early because I had enough credits and no other classes were of interest to me. If I had known about the personalized learning program I would have definitely done that so I could have had internships working with children at preschools or in an elementary school."

"The Mount Abraham community really comes together during sporting events. Being a player, the best thing is seeing all sorts of community members on the sidelines supporting the team. The people on the sideline are not just family members and friends of the players. They are anyone that enjoys watching the sport and being apart of the community. Seeing my teachers at my games warms my heart because it shows that they care about the extra curricular as well as activities in the classroom. Hearing the student section's chants puts a smile on my face. These fans are constantly loyal regardless of the final outcome."
