"Test scores at Killingly fall below the state average meaning that most students are not performing at grade level. I think we should do a better job at helping our students succeed. I like some of the experiences I've had with teachers."

"Overall, KHS is a very excellent school when it comes to clubs and electives. However, like most schools in Connecticut, it follows common core which, in most cases, is unnecessary and exasperating to many. The teachers, in general, are decent. Like all schools, though, there are some who excell at their jobs and are liked by many, and others who do not put in much effort and are only there for the paycheck."

"I spent all four years of high school here and had an overall good experience. I was active in the music department and that was wonderful, as far as academics go sometimes it was a hit other times a miss."

"The thing I love most about Killingly High School is the agriculture education department. This department has allowed me to be an FFA member and travel to places like Indianapolis, Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky. I have had countless opportunities opened to me and overall the program is advanced and provides great experiences for all that are a part of it. The only thing that I would change about Killingly High School is the number of classes students are able to take each year. The school offers so amazing classes and programs, I wish I had time to take more in my four years there."

"Overall my experience has been great. I graduated with plenty of college credits, enough so that I earned my Associates in a year. I would recommend better communication; many times there were new policies and regulations that were not properly expressed, leaving many staff behind. That or announcements were not made, just enforced, so students would protest."
