"I went here for four years of high school. Teachers are great and helpful and there are many clubs to attend."

"Bacon Academy is a school with a good community that suffers from severe underfunding. It has good programs for getting special help where needed, but the facilities, sports and food are all very sub-par. The school, like many others, is divided into many different cliques and there isn't much to bring people together. It's saving grace is with the excellent teachers and classes which I think are very above average, it's just that the school could certainly do with some more funding to be better."

"I really like Bacon Academy a lot. We have a lot of spirit and positivity that makes the community there awesome. Furthermore, we have a range of classes that some high schools don't have and I'm so grateful that I was able to take them. I have taken classes like Bake shop to Anthropology to Asian Studies. There's so many choices that each student feels as if they can take classes that's THEY like."

"I liked the small school size because the teachers got to know each student's strengths and weaknesses. The majority of the teachers really cared about the students and genuinely wanted them to succeed. The only negative to the school is that it very badly needs to be renovated because some of the ceilings leak and the floors need to be redone."

"I am proud to have obtained my high school education from Bacon Academy. The environment at that school is very comforting and supportive. The administration there really puts copious amounts of effort into helping students prepare for college. I do not think I could have been prepared much more. The only major con of going to Bacon is that if you are not planning on attending college after high school, not much is done for you. However, for everyone who is, the guidance department at this school is absolutely excellent at getting students headed in the right direction. The overall climate of all the staff at the school (from my student-perspective) seems to function wonderfully and has shown success. The music programs at Bacon Academy also really shine, considering they are a public school. I cannot imagine not having been a member of jazz band, concert band, and symphonic band."
