"This school has high academic standards and some parents put beyond too much pressure on their children."

"Some teachers are great and try the absolute best to help you in any way possible. Some teachers pick favorites and will grade accordingly."

"In your four years at GHS, you will surely come across some iconic teachers. Terenzi, Monaco, Skorik and Roginsky all come to mind for me. I would say, however, that the greater number of teachers are intelligent, but uninspiring. All in all, GHS offers a great education with just enough impressionable teachers to create a valuable high school experience."

"GHS instills motivation in its students. The arts are just as strong, if not stronger than athletics. The student body isn't very diverse, but generally intelligent and well raised."

"I believe this school is unique because of the lack of diversity in the race of its students and staff. I do not know of any surrounding towns that would spend 92 million dollars on a new high school and then waste money on multiple televisions throughout the school just to show announcements that could be said over the loud speaker. My school is unique because of the administration and the special attention they pay to actions like bringing coffee to school, wearing a tank top or a boy wearing a dress, or a student wanting to wear their dead sister's gown at graduation even though the rule was just changed by a transgender and now all students have to wear green (not girls white and boys green), instead or things like marijuana in student's backpacks, or students who were parents since sophomore year, or the racial bullying that occurs on a daily basis. One of my favorite experiences was when fox news came to the school because parents were protesting the dress code, I thought it was so funny that the news came for that, but not for when students would literally walk out of the building during school and leave basically becoming MIA. I would not go to this school again if I could do it all over again because compared to the surrounding town's public schools, the teachers grade harder, resulting in lower GPA's and a doomed future, the attention paid to the least important or life threatening actions or decisions and the lack of student diversity."
