"Attending Fairchild Wheeler Highschool was the best decision I had ever made. The school provided me with so many resources that helped me prepare for college. My favorite events at the school were the sports tournaments and clubs I attended. People would always collaborate and put equal effort to succeed. I would chose this high school again due to the amount of opportunities and the motivation the high school offers."

"The teachers show dedicated devotion to the students. They care for the students and try to prepare the students as much as possible. They provide preparations for real world challenges and help find solutions with experiences."

"Most teachers in this school are okay. There is a very minimal amount of teachers that are spectacular at their job and the one teacher that I will always be an example of that is Mr. Klein. He recently made teacher of the year. The teaching style used was relating to his students. Some teachers tried and failed, but this one didn't have to try. Of course he had some faults, no one is perfect, however the good outweighed the bad. There are some teachers in the school that would make you question how they got the job in the first place. One teacher would frequently put herself in student drama and create more problems. High school is full of unnecessary problems and she did not help the situation at all. One was recently fired, but while she was working in Fairchild, she assigned a 10 page essay all in Spanish (in Spanish 1) as a punishment to those in the class. After all her students gritted through all the work and complained, she dropped the work the day before the due date and didn't allow the work to be extra credit. Even though my overall experience in the school wasn't the best, the memories will always linger in my heart."

"The academics that are offered is phenomenal. There a lot of unique classes that most high schools in Connecticut probably won't offer. I took Multi-media, introduction to Java, and Robotics. The schedules are pretty small. We only get four classes in a day, but that means each class is about 90 minutes long. The effect of long classes means more work is more information is being processed and the workload or bigger in size instead of quantity. Since multi-media is all about creating and editing videos, its easily the most popular class."

"Most teachers give appreciate notes, give examples to help student understand the concept of the lesson and in addition give additional projects. When a student has a question the teacher will assist the student in answering the question. Sometimes the teachers may even show funny videos to help the student remember a math equation or a Spanish conjugation."
